1. Service
Alpaca Guru is a mobile app for alpaca farm records, health and husbandry tracking, breeding, paddocks, team collaboration and related tools. It is currently distributed as a TestFlight beta while we prepare for 1.0.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, be at least 13, and use the app lawfully. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate others, upload malicious material, or use another farm’s data without permission.
3. Your content and shared farms
You retain rights in content you add. You permit us to store and process it solely to operate the service. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have authority to add it. Farm roles and consented cross-farm reference flows control access; do not share another farm’s information outside those flows.
4. Advisor and animal care
The Alpaca Advisor provides general educational information. It is not a veterinarian, cannot examine animals, and can be incomplete or wrong. It must not replace professional veterinary judgement or emergency care.
5. Beta service
TestFlight builds may change, contain defects, or be withdrawn. Do not rely on the beta as your only copy of important records. We may modify, suspend or discontinue beta features as permitted by law.
6. Subscriptions and payments
The app currently provides a free beta plan. If paid subscriptions are offered, the available plans, prices, billing period and any trial terms will be shown before purchase in the applicable Apple purchase flow. Apple charges purchases to your Apple ID; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store subscription settings according to the terms shown at purchase. You can use the app’s Restore Purchases control where available. Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies. Deleting your Alpaca Guru account does not cancel Apple billing.
7. Privacy and termination
The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms. You may permanently delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms or to protect the service, subject to applicable law.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as available and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Byte Ventures IO AB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
9. Governing law and contact
